About Miriam Van Cooten

Miriam Van Cooten, award winning make-up artist and hairstylist (to the stars,) has been working in advertising, film, video, TV, fashion and also graces the pages of many of Sydney’s elite Bridal Magazines. With her expertise she can also teach you her skills in both make-up artistry and hair styling on a one-to-one basis or in a group. Miriam has worked on many celebrities and with over 25 years of experience there is not much she cannot do.

During her career, Miriam has worked in all facets of the beauty industry. Her work has appeared in the world's premier fashion magazines, in television and print advertising, in music video clips, on television and in film - throughout the world and here in Australia.

Miriam has won annual Bridal Industry Awards and has been runner up several times. With her industry experience she can share her knowledge with today's brides. Her work is also featured in many of Sydney's major bridal magazines.

Miriam works on photo shoots, videos, film, weddings and with her expertise and organisation you can be sure things will run smoothly.

Miriam can show you how to apply your makeup in a one-on-one session - from natural daytime looks to dramatic evening styles.

Courses are also available in both make-up and hair, with the option to take single classes, short courses or a full diploma course. All courses are suitable for beginners, or for more experienced professionals wishing to increase their skills or to explore new areas of make-up and hair.
